On Friday, November 15, 2019, at 6:48pm, officers from the Santa Rosa Police Department were dispatched to the area of Darla Drive and Tracy Avenue for a shooting that had just occurred.
The first officers on the scene located one male gunshot victim. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for non-life threating injuries. The victim’s name will not be released at this time due to the violent nature of the crime and the fact that the investigation is still ongoing.
The suspects were described as Hispanic males in their late teens. Officers established a perimeter to search for the suspects with assistance from the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office’s helicopter, Henry 1. However, the suspects were not located.
Santa Rosa Police Department’s Violent Crimes Investigations Team was notified about the incident and will be taking over the investigation.

A reward up to $2,500 is being offered by the Sonoma County Alliance “Take Back Our Community Program.” The reward is for information leading to the arrest of the suspect or suspects involved in this shooting.
